The mohair market was down slightly after the second sale of the summer season yesterday.
Mohair SA says its market indicator closed 1.8% down at R90.60.
However, prices in most categories were up by between 4.7% and 5.6%.
Mohair SA says despite buyers having to contend with a stronger currency once again, competition remained strong.
The next sale is scheduled for 27 March.
