The country's mohair market is continuing its upward trend.
Mohair South Africa says the fifth summer sale of 2012 saw the average market indicator improving by 6%, to break the R100 rand level once again.
Competition amongst buyers was brisk on the back of the Rand weakening nearly six percent against the Dollar and the Euro also marginally weaker compared to the previous sale.
Mohair SA says the market has now gained nearly 9% from the 2012 opening sale, with prices up between three and 8.7%.
