Millions invested to increase cream capacity at Sundale Dairy

Sundale Dairy has invested R10 million in its plant in the East London Industrial Development Zone, through the installation of a new system that increases cream capacity.

CEO, Pierre van Rensburg, says cream is the only precious commodity that drives profits in the dairy sector.

He says this investment follows their general factory upgrades and improvements to their butter factory lines.

Van Rensburg says this will create additional jobs and add value which will allow them to keep money in the Eastern Cape.

He says they no longer just supply to South African but also supply to many SADEC countries that add to the value of the business and keeps the cash in South Africa.
