What a weekend!

Well it sure has been an inasne weekend. Always happens in PE... most weekends go by with not much happening, and then you get loads of great events on one day.
Today was the big walk, which hit record number, it was the air show - which I heard was spectacular, and then the Aurora Fete which I had been organizing. I thought it would affect us, but it turned out to be a lovely morning.
We had fabulous entertainment, and my favorite part was the pipe band! I don't think there was a dry eye in the house! Especially when they played Amazing Grace.
I felt so happy to be there to know that everyone there was supporting Aurora, and the same sentiment goes to those that supported the big walk. Thank you!!!

AS it's amost Halloween and of course pumkin season overseas, most of the strange and interesting events are around those topics.

Fright Night - UK
Tonight is Britain's biggest Halloween party. More than 40,000 people, many in fancy dress, flock into Sheffield city centre on the Saturday before Halloween for an evening of ghoulish activity, with street theatre and funfair rides providing family entertainment.
Ghost tours and a fancy-dress catwalk are among the many other attractions keeping Fright Night participants occupied. Much of Sheffield city centre is closed to traffic for the evening, so instead of cars watch out for werewolves, vampires and zombies.

York Ghost Festival
York might be famed for its historic centre, but it is also associated with metaphysical occurrences and ghostly goings-ons. York Ghost Festival invites courageous souls to engage with the "other side" as it delves into the city's supernatural past.
The festival includes ghost walks, seances and psychic nights to intrigue believers, sceptics and the undecided. Along with paranormal investigations, the events provide an opportunity for serious debate on the existence of unknown forces and offer an authentically eerie way to spend Halloween. In 2013 York Ghost Festival turns ten!
