School holidays are over, and a listener mentioned to me that there are only 9 weeks of school left! I really feel since becoming a mom, that time is going even faster.
It's been a busy week, and I am now on count down till the annual fete for the Aurora Special Care Centre. It's the same day as our big walk for cancer, so you can walk for Algoa FM and then head down to us at 52 Alan Drive - Walmer Downs, it's going to be a great family morning!
The kids are great! Gabriel turned 6 months on the 4th, and Hayden got to go to his friend Erin's butterfly party on Saturday. So now all he is speaking about his birthday party coming up in January.
The pressure on parents to throw the perfect party is quite enormous (never would have thought that) ... but we like to keep things simple (more for my sake as I don't have time to plan anything to be honest) so we are busy brainstorming some simple party ideas. He loves airplanes and helicopters, so the cake will have to be along those lines :)
Gabriel is already holding his own bottle, which is great. But he has started teething, so my once perfect little sleeper - is now waking several times a night. Poor little thing.
Hei s babbling a lot more, and "dla dla dla" seems to be his favorite... always smiling and always happy.
