Michael Jackson continues to make the news: Michael’s milestone 14-minute video Thriller is being prepped for a 3-D re-release in 2015.
The New York Daily News reports that the director of the video, John Landis, has been working on the project non-stop for several months.
There are discussions for the video to land on multiple platforms, including on Blu-ray and even in theatres, where it has never been seen before.
Back in 1983, just as MTV was gaining its full head of steam, Thriller cost a then-whopping $500,000.
At the time, that was more than 10 times the amount of the average of video.
