Lego Slippers

"For years, parents have endured the excruciating pain of stepping on their child’s misplaced LEGO block. But today, LEGO France has officially declared that THIS. MUST. STOP. Introducing, the anti-LEGO slippers.

Made in collaboration with local ad agency Brand Station, The anti-LEGO slippers were created to save countless innocent lives. It comes with protective padding and interchangeable sides, allowing adults to have peace of mind while walking around the house.

‘Because your kids love Lego and share their passion throughout the house, we have designed the ultimate gift for Christmas’, LEGO said."

Got me thinking why on earth Lego hurts like crazy when you stand on it!

So according to ryot.org:" the soles of our feet have tiny nerve endings that connect directly to our brains. This makes our feet very, very sensitive.

Then, there’s the single block of LEGO which were made to withstand even nature’s toughest forces. You can stack 375,000 LEGO bricks, or 430kgs, on a single brick before it’ll crack.

And that’s where the pain comes from. Because the freaking brick doesn’t crack, it’s ridges remain intact as it digs to your very soul. If you want to be more technical about it, Quartz says you feel so much pain because “the surface of the LEGO matches the amount of pressure bearing down on it.” When you’re walking you exert pressure that’s twice the amount of your body weight. So when your foot hits the tiny evil things created to make our lives miserable all the force and pressure come back to our sensitive foot."
