Well I was so spoilt with tickets to watch Lady Gaga last night at Soccer Stadium in JHB. I flew up on Thursday morning, and spent some great time with my brother and his lovely girlfriend. We had loads of fun, ice-skated, ate out and just enjoyed each other’s company.
Of course the big event was Lady Gaga, where 65 000 "little monsters" went to see her live in concert. She really was remarkable, and yes she does sing some controversial songs, but it didn't change my beliefs, and I got to see a true star perform.
The costumes and stage were incredible, the dancers amazing and Gaga herself - humble and talented. She sang a few songs with just a piano, and she has an incredible voice. She was overwhelmed with the audience, and kept thanking them for their support and told the audience that they should pursue their dreams.
She promised to never leave SA off the map when she tours again, and hopes to inspire other really big names to visit SA soon!
