Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise Split

 

So it's official - Katie Holmes has split from Tom Cruise. It's a long story, and I am sure that there will be so much to read about over the next few months... but in a nut shell:
Katie was tired of Tom's controlling ways and she is doubting that his controlling ways over Suri are healthy. 
She is not that keen on following Scientology
And then the final straw was this magazine cover... 

They have signed a prenup - it doesn't entitle her to that much, but with Suri there - I am sure the bulk will be gained through maintenance. 

Never nice to hear about people splitting up or seperating. However, the general consensus for this one is that its good for Katie.
