"To celebrate Flashback Friday, Maroon 5 front man Adam Levine posted a photo of himself circa 1996, complete with an attempt to rock Kurt Cobain locks and a modest beard. It didn't really pan out, at least according to the caption: "that HARRIBLE 90s goatee took me an entire summer to grow." It would take six more years for Maroon 5 to release their studio debut, Songs About Jane, by which point Levine had gotten a haircut."
