Woman takes own life at PE Beach

Port Elizabeth police are investigating the death of a 38-year-old woman whose body was found in her car at the Sardinia Bay beach parking area.

Police spokesperson, Warrant Officer Alwin Labans, says the woman's body was found just before lunchtime on Thursday.

Several letters addressed to different people were found in the car which has Knysna registration plates.

No foul play is suspected and an inquest docket has been opened.

Her identity will be released once her next of kin have been informed.
