Nigerian Pastor Timothy Omotoso and his two co-accused made a brief appearance in the Port Elizabeth High Court on Monday where their case was postponed to 4 February 2019.
This, as the controversial televangelist, awaits the outcome of his applications to the Supreme Court of Appeals in Bloemfontein.
In October presiding officer, Judge Mandla Makaula rejected defence applications for him to recuse himself and for the charges against the accused to be dropped.
Defence attorney, Peter Daubermann, told Judge Makaula on Monday that they were still awaiting a decision on their petition to the SCA.
Earlier, Omotoso’s wife Taiwo, was back in court with followers from the Jesus Dominion International Church to support her husband and his co-accused, Lusanda Sulani, and Zukiswa Sitho.
They face 63 main charges that include human trafficking, racketeering, and rape, as well as 34 alternative charges.
All three accused chose not to plead to the charges against them.
