Mom and kids missing in Garden Route

Police in George are searching for a mother and her two children who went missing on Tuesday night.

Police say the 35-year-old George resident Heidi Scheepers was last seen with her six-year-old daughter and two-year-old son at the beach in Herold's Bay.

Scheepers drove to the beach with a charcoal Volkswagen combi.

It is believed that she left her phone at home.

Scheepers was last seen wearing maroon jeans with a navy blue long shirt and brown sandals.
