Legendary songstress and humanitarian Yvonne Chaka Chaka and her husband, Dr Mhinga, celebrated 30 years of marriage yesterday, in a world of ever-soaring divorce rates, this is indeed a milestone worth popping the champagne for.
Yvonne took to Instagram to share the special news with her followers saying: "God is amazing all the time. 30 years ago Dr Mhinga asked for my hand in marriage and I said Yes I DO. 30 years later we still together. Today is our 30thwedding anniversary. I can not stop thanking the Lord who brought us together, I was 24. Now I am 54 and we have been together for 30 years. Time flies, 7th October 1989 we said Yes We Do. We Thank You, Lord. We thank our families, our children and our friends. And all those who have supported us and encouraged us big Thank you. Tiny."

The ”Princess of Africa” as she was dubbed way back in the 1990s, has four sons with Mhinga.
