Bobby Brown is so worried about the health of his daughter, Bobbi Kristina, he wants her to get professional help.
Bobbi — the only child of Bobby and ex-wife Whitney Houston — has taken the news of her mother's death extremely hard, and her father is reportedly urging her to seek help so she can come to terms with the tragedy.
A source told RadarOnline.com: "He knows that she is devastated about her mother dying and he doesn't think that she is handling the situation well at all.
"He wants her in a treatment facility, getting professional help to get her through the grieving process."
Bobbi (18) had to be taken to hospital shortly after her mother's passing on 11 February to be treated for stress and anxiety, and is still said to be in a very emotional state.
She reportedly "went missing" for a few hours after her mother's funeral service on Saturday (18 February) - although the family later insisted that she had been with them the entire time.
Bobby is worried that his daughter will not cope without her mother, and doesn't want her to turn to drugs, like he and Whitney did, which led to the eventual end of their marriage in 2007.
The source said: "Let's face it, both her parents struggled with dependency issues and Bobby knows that addiction often runs in the genes so he's terrified his daughter is going to follow in his and Whitney's footsteps.
"Bobby is worried that with his and Whitney's history of substance abuse that their daughter is really going to struggle.
"He's worried the people around her are not going to be able to help her, or stop her, so he wants her to get professional help as soon as possible."
