100 years ago, Roald Amundsen made history when he became the first man to reach the South Pole. Following in his footsteps, Nzuzo Mnikathi from Pietermaritzburg aims to become the youngest black person to ever walk to the South Pole. Part of The Unlimited Child South Pole Expedition, the 19-year-old said it will be an honour to claim this world record for South Africa and all its children. Mnikathi is using the Expedition, made possible by The Unlimited, to raise awareness for The Unlimited Child and the importance of early childhood development in South Africa.
