Several Eyewitness News exposés revealed that the SABC spent millions on hiring luxury cars for reporters and executives.
The Democratic Alliance’s Marian Shinn said the national broadcaster spent over R23 000 a day.
She said the SABC could have bought a new Polo 1.4 every week.
"This is incredible indulgence. Surely the reporters have their own cars to drive themselves around."
