Anyone who has boarded a plane with a baby or toddler in tow might remember the look of dread on the faces of other passengers.
With that in mind, one US couple took a proactive step to get fellow travellers on side when they took a flight with their 18-month-old twin daughters recently.
As the family boarded the plane they handed out goodie bags containing lollies and ear plugs to other passengers, along with a note from the girls asking for understanding.
"Hello! Our names are Ashley & Abby, We're twins, we just turned 18 months and this is our first time on an airplane!" the note read.
"We are heading to FL [Florida] to see Grandma & Grandpa, and Mommy & Daddy said something about a mouse. We'll try to keep our cool, but in case we decide to get crazy, we've provided a sweet treat and some earplugs for your enjoyment. Thank you for understanding and enjoy your flight!"
