South African Thulani Madondo is among this year's Top 10 CNN Heroes -- a global initiative that recognises "everyday people who change the world ". The Kliptown Youth Program, of which he is the executive director, provides food, clothes and academic support to 400 children. The overall winner gets a R2.1-million grant.
