YMCA

The YMCA aims to empower young people for Leadership, Life, and Service. We also provide well-rounded support for the youth through skills development programs and education. The organization brings about meaningful, impactful, and sustainable change in the lives of vulnerable children and youth at risk in Nelson Mandela Bay. We provide a safe space for learning, psycho-social support, and life skills development programs.

For many, our NGO is a second chance as we help those who have dropped out of school get reintegrated back into the education system. We also link them to job and entrepreneurship opportunities so that they can becoming responsible citizens within their communities.

Our current projects include :

School Shoes Campaign. :We donate school shoes to underprivileged children in various schools around Nelson Mandela Bay.

 Project Two:  Linking Youths to Opportunities.

 This involves reintegrating youths that dropped out of school back into the education system.
