We were registered as a non-profit company on 28 September 2022.
Our driven purpose is to uplift the needy and assist in their growth and development. It is important to us to not just give handouts but to encourage accountability and responsibility to identified target groups so that they can become upstanding citizens who contribute to a well-functioning community.
The Whispers of Hope staff includes the Founder and Director, Sandra Hulley, a bookkeeper, banking official, health worker, project developer, carer, and social worker with a degree in Health and Welfare Management.
We work to ensure sustainable access to the most basic needs of healthy living, food, clothing, education, and skills development for the needy – from children to the elderly.
We want to provide them with the opportunity to become "partners", to actively and responsibly participate in becoming contributing and self-supporting citizens in all facets of life.
We do all we can to provide vital services that help alleviate hunger, support personal development, higher attendance at schools, and give vulnerable people vision.
Current projects which we need support for include.
1. Assisting the needy with treasure bags containing stationary, a treat, and toiletries.
At present we are reaching out to the community for sponsorships and donations to support us in reaching this goal. Obtaining this goal will have a positive impact on school attendance and also lift the financial burden on families already struggling.
2. We consider it of great importance to address malnutrition by means of a feeding scheme to make sure that these children in the identified schools, receive a "food bag".
It is our goal to also assist needy children with school clothes (Shirts, shorts, shoes, school bags, and socks.) Depending on donations, funds, and sponsorships. This is an ongoing project and any kind of contribution is welcome.
