Algoa Cares March 2nd : WESSA

This week Algoa Cares features the NPO WESSA. WESSA is a dynamic environmental organisation with a mission to implement high impact environmental and conservation projects that promote public participation in caring for the Earth. They have a remarkable history of 90 years and a proud track record of enabling individuals and organisations to use natural resources sustainably and effectively. Their critical focus areas include the international eco-labels of Eco-Schools and Blue Flag, environmental training, sustainable energy, and life-supporting eco-systems such as water and biodiversity. Through their Eco-Schools, WESSA is creating awareness and action around environmental sustainability in over 6 000 schools and their surrounding communities.
