We are a community-based, amateur company with a vision to become the top semi-professional drama company in South Africa. G&S has been creating musical magic for over 80 years and produced a host of spectacular shows using the wonderful multi-cultural talent that our city has to offer.
The Society is committed to providing the opportunity to experience working on a theatrical production to all residents, particularly young people, and focuses on developing both theatre-making skills and life skills such as leadership, teamwork, organization, and discipline.
We are currently hard at work on the show Matilda giving as many people a chance to find their niche either on stage - or behind the scenes.
