In 2009, South Africa's pro golfer Louis Oosthuizen founded the LOUIS57 Foundation, inspired by the sponsorship he had received during his amateur years on the golf course. The foundation has gone from strength to strength over the years and supports four different needs within the community.
Foundation57 has four registered beneficiaries :
Louis and his wife Nel-Mare are passionate about supporting children with special needs and this year we are proud to have our Leolan Academy chosen as the beneficiary of the Algoa FM Cares Charity Golf Day Garden Route happening on 1st June at Pinnacle Point Golf Club in Mossel Bay. The funds raised will go towards our non-profit school that supports children who have complex and special needs, including autism and Down syndrome. Leolan is committed to the development of each child’s abilities so that he or she may come to experience life to its full potential.
