Kaycee catches up with Founder Nosipiwo Nompumza : We are a feeding scheme in Mdantsane for people living with chronic illnesses who are not able to provide nutritious meals for themselves so they either take medication on an empty stomach or do not take the medication at all. We also look after children who are abandoned by their parents and left to be raised by grandparents who only have their pension on which to live. We assist by providing these families with both food and clothes. Two of the projects we are currently running: Feeding scheme- cooking nutritious food for people in need.
Youth events- we do youth events such as talent shows, to motivate youth in our community. A list of our needs: Food/vegetables/pots/ stove/ garden utensils/wire fence to protect the garden.
