The Buckaroo Project

Buckaroo a Marlene Neumann Initiative

Buckaroo a Marlene Neumann Initiative assists impoverished communities to care for their dogs and prevent unwanted litters by sterilising their dogs. Buckaroo Sterilisation Drive which started in June 2016, after a two year project of revamping the ELSPCA, has to date sterilised over 450 dogs. The project educates community members on how to care for their dogs and provides kennels, bedding, food, collars & leads, medical treatment and general health care for the dogs. The communities are visited by the Buckaroo team and dogs are monitored regularly. Buckaroo is a voluntary group and every cent goes to the dogs. https://issuu.com/annegeldin/docs/buckaroo_brochure_issuu
