Salem Baby Care Centre

Salem is a Non-Profit Organization that provides destitute women and their babies/children with basic needs, such as access to health care and hygiene, food, clothing, skills training and free preschool education.

Salem offers 3 major services to our beneficiaries:

Health & Hygiene – babies under 2 years are bath, given clean clothing and fed daily.  

Educare Programme – children 2-6 years old receive free education from qualified teachers.

Life Skills & Development Programme – moms whose children are in the creche are taught various skills to empower them and increase their chances of gaining employment.

• Lactogen 1 & 2 Formula for Babies (R8 000 per month)
• Cerelac Porridge
• Sand for Kids Sandpit (Can be purchased from Game)
• Non-perishable food items - Monthly food parcels (R18 000 per month)
• General Stationery
• Service of Vehicle
