Retina South Africa is a non profit organisation dedicated to fighting blindness by:
Raising funds to support research programs.
The identification of affected South Africans to study the geographical and biological nature of the diseases.
Providing support services to persons affected by retinal disease and their family members.
Retina South Africa Eastern Cape branch, based in Nelson Mandela Bay, Port Elizabeth, supports both urban and rural communities within the Eastern Cape as well as the adjacent areas of the Western Cape as far as Mossel Bay.
At Retina South Africa they offer a variety of services to various communities.

Training & Education.
Awareness Campaigns.
Support Groups.
Social Interventions & Advocacy.
Community Services and Support.
Volunteer your assistance to Retina South Africa Eastern Cape Branch to help them in theirefforts to raise funds for finding cures for genetic eye conditions and assisting affected people in the Eastern Cape.
