Open Arms Home for children

Open Arms Mission & Vision:  As an established non-profit organization, registered in South Africa and the United States, Open Arms provides love and security for children placed with us through tragic circumstances.

Our Purpose:  We exist to provide a long-term residential environment focused on providing for the emotional, physical, and developmental needs of the children placed in our care.

Current Projects include:  Expansion of residents for our young adults (school leavers)

And a fundraising charity walk by myself Janice Benn, from The Boardwalk in Gqeberha to our premises  in Komga, Eastern Cape, in May. Having worked in an administrative capacity at Open Arms since 2018, I have first-hand knowledge of what is involved in the care of more than 50 children and young adults seeking their place in the world. 100% of the funds raised will go directly to benefit the children at Open Arms. You can join in this effort to help vulnerable children!  I am asking for sponsorship per km walked, but any donation would be greatly appreciated. Our needs are : YA Internships such as office administration, tourism, panel beating, spray painting, and hospitality.  Educational toys for our on-campus creche.  Sports equipment, many of our children enjoy and take part in sport.  We are open to monetary donations as we solely rely on these to keep our organization running.
