Njongonkulu Development Programme is a Non-Profit Organisation that is based in a small town called Adelaide here in the Eastern Cape. We pride ourselves on helping young people in primary and high school. Substance abuse, as well as teenage pregnancy, are a big challenge in our community. Because of these two issues affecting our youth, many young people who have just started high school resulting drop out before getting their matric certificates - the knock-on effect of this is that they are also unable to further their studies which would enable them to gain meaningful employment.
Clean Girl Campaign
The Clean Girl Campaign is our current running campaign where we donate Sanitary Pads to Girls that cannot afford to buy Sanitary Pads.
Substance Abuse and Teenage Pregnancy Awareness
Every term the organisation hosts a programme to create or awareness around a specific issue affecting the youth.
List of our needs :
Our needs are mainly for donations of sanitary pads for the girls in our community. They need them now more than ever because the donations that we used to receive have stopped due to the pandemic. No donation is too big or too small. Ideally, it would be great if a sponsor could come on board to assist our cause.
