Mossel Bay Care Centre

Our Organization runs various outreach programs for which ongoing funding is needed. We help six families and have 34 children in aftercare.

We buy food for 160 underprivileged children at Ridgeview Primary School on a daily basis. For most of these children, the food they get at school, is the only meal they have for the day. We also buy school clothes and shoes for those that require it. We take them on outings throughout the year. Their Christmas parties are the highlight of the year - we treat up to 230 children.

We opened an Aftercare centre in Powertown, a rural development in Mosselbay.

OUR CURRENT PROJECT: To raise funds for our projects for 2024, we will be selling curry & rice at the Mighty Men Conference in Mosselbay on 15 - 17 December.  We are very blessed to be able to do it.

We urgently need funding or the ingredients for the following:

          Stewing beef, boneless and cut in bite-sized portions (Watsons in George gave us a very good price, at R69/kilo);
          Curry & Rice 500ml polystyrene 500ml bowls and lids (6000) and 6000 spoons
          Potatoes - 30 bags @ 7kg
          Onions - 40kg
          Oil
          Tomato paste x 135
          Curry powder 21kg
          Chutney 15 x 3kg
