Mental Health Homes

Uitenhage Mental Health Homes is a nonprofit organization that provides permanent residential services to 70 persons with mental disabilities (intellectual/psycho-social).  Our residents receive 24/7 care. This includes all daily needs such as food, hygiene, and medication. They also take part in rehabilitation and stimulation activities.  This is HOME.

Current Projects:

Workshop: We would like to start a workshop so that our residents may have a specialized space meant for things like woodwork etc.

Water Tanks: When we are not trying to get money or donations for basic needs like food etc, we are trying to fundraise and are asking for donations towards water tanks to help save water costs.

Rehabilitation and Stimulation: We have ongoing rehabilitation and stimulation activities. We are currently looking to do clay ornaments and pots.
