Masithethe Counselling Services (East London)

Masithethe Counselling Services (formerly LifeLine East London) has been working with suffering communities of the Buffalo City Metropolitan area since 1985 (32 years). To date we have Masithethe Counselling Services more than 430 000 adults and children.

Our services are offered at our Centre in Southernwood and also in 7 Schools in East London. We offer emotional and trauma informed care and support to those who suffer emotional and psychological pain and distress.

We conduct a range of education and awareness and training programmes focused on building resilience in individuals, equipping them to weather stress, anxiety and trauma and we support them to continue to be emotionally well and to function as productive members of society.

We are proud supporters of the Thursdays In Black Campaign - working towards a world free of rape and violence and conduct our annual Walk Against Abuse (W.A.A) held during the 16 Days of Activism Campaign.
