Masinyusane is one of the city’s leading education organisations, working in dozens of schools in Port Elizabeth’s township. Their projects range from a Scholarship Fund for students from our Port Elizabeth township high schools to building libraries in primary schools and teaching children to read.
Main Projects
1. Top Learner Scholarship Fund: Ensuring kids from the township have the opportunity to ACCESS university and then receive the support necessary to SUCCEED once there.
2. Children’s Literacy & Youth Employment: Hiring unemployed youth in the townships, training them in award-winning literacy methodologies, and putting them to work one-on-one with children in our school libraries
