Maranatha Street Workers Trust is an inter-denominational Christian organization registered as a Trust, a Non-Profit organization, and a Public Benefit Organization. Maranatha addresses the physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual needs of Gqeberha’s homeless, as well as providing support to children in need of care and protection.
Maranatha Streetworkers Trust oversees various projects in support of the underprivileged. We provide residential services for both children and adults in Gqeberha and have a community outreach project in the rural area of Nieu-Bethesda. There are beneficiaries from various areas of the Eastern Cape.
Maranatha Adult Care is a centre for adults in need which we accommodate on our premises. The adults provide services as part of a team at on-site projects and develop work skills in return for their accommodation and meals. We also run our Maranatha-Siyakatala Child and Youth Care Centre as our flagship project.
