Ladles of Love PE

Ladles of Love is Non Profit organization that provides food to about 138 primary beneficiaries, who in turn provide to hundreds of subsidiaries in the Western Cape. The drive has been so successful that they decided to expand into Port Elizabeth together with Sun International by opening up a depot at The Boardwalk Casino to do a sandwich drive - it was hugely successful  -  we are hoping that they will be expanding upon this in the near future.

- Boiled Eggs prepared and distributed: 277,183

- Bulk produce and groceries distributed: 678,423KG’s

The above equates to a total of 6,242,989 meals

The above stats are from the beginning of lockdown on the 20th of March 2020 to the 5th of September 2020 (inclusive)

We love celebrating these milestones because it means a lot to us that we're able to do this. However, it's with a heavy heart too - because it's kind of unbelievable that there are this many people in such desperate need.

We are determined to keep going and find the money to meet the rising need for food. Help us to do this by sponsoring Danny now on his 24hr Sarmiethon - an epic challenge to raise a million rand for our projects.

Buy your raffle tickets or sponsor Danny here: https://bit.ly/2Ff00KY

Danny will be making sandwiches for 24hours with the goal of raising R1million rand.  This will take place at the Seapoint promenade on 12 & 13 September.  Here’s how you can get involved and more details on the event - www.quicket.co.za/events/113947-dannys-24hr-sarmiethon#/

We also have a Ladles of Love 45second TV ad which is played on various platforms and the call to action is to donate R150 which will feed someone for a month. The advert is on our landing page www.ladlesoflove.org.za
