Algoa Cares 26th January 2016 : Today Algoa Cares features the NPO Kuselo Youth and Child Care Centre. This centre’s aim is to render specialised services to all vulnerable and needy children within the EasternCape, with particular emphasis on King William’s Town and surrounding areas.
The Centre offers a range of services such as a Residential Care Program for babies, children and youth who have been removed from their homes through statutory processes such as abuse, neglect, abandonment as well as being infected or affected by the HIV/Aids pandemic. In addition there is a Family Reunification Service, a crèche, an Adult Development Programme and a Partnering Programme with the National Association for Child Care Workers which is aimed at assisting child-headed households.
