Kleinskool Initiative

Algoa Cares 20th January 2016 : Today Algoa Cares features the NPO, Kleinskool Initiative.

This organization focuses on the education and welfare of disadvantaged youngsters living in this impoverished area and surrounds. They are currently funded through the running of a sponsorship programme whereby businesses and churches in the area sponsor a child for a year. In return, they make sure that learners under their watchful eye deliver good school reports. In addition to this, attention is paid to the emotional well being of these vulnerable children.

Kleinskool Initiative has also recently opened a crèche in the area so that working mothers have somewhere safe to leave their children while they go about the business of earning a living. Listed below are some of their pressing and ongoing needs.
