The Grandads Army, a group of social cyclists; was originally founded by doctors serving the Eyabantwana Trust, and has since grown into a group of over 100 cyclists who gather to raise much-needed awareness for the organisation.

The Grandads Army manages to raise over R500 000 each year for the trust, which contributes towards the maintenance and equipment purchases the trust requires to keep up with their level of service.
Over the past five years, they have in fact managed to raise over R2 million through the organisation of the Grandads Army Memorial Ride. The group raised over R350 000 for the Eyabantwana Trust in 2020.
