Algoa Cares 10th February 2016 :
This week Algoa Cares features the NPO CHOC ahead of International Childhood Cancer Awareness Day on Monday February the 15th.
International Childhood Cancer Day is a global collaborative campaign to raise awareness about childhood cancer, and to express support for children and adolescents with cancer, the survivors and their families.
CHOC Childhood Cancer Foundation SA is a national organisation dedicated to providing assistance to children who are battling cancer or life-threatening blood disorders, and their families. CHOC recognises the inevitable disruption to family life when a child faces vigorous and often lengthy treatment and thus extends support to the families as well.
