Cancer Care

Cancer Care is an organisation started to raise money for patients struggling to pay for transport to our medical centre for treatment.

We host fundraising events and sell cancer bear brooches to raise money for this very purpose. The care bear brooches are sold for R10 each at the Cance Care Centre in Mangold Street, Newton Park. 

We are currently planning a high tea in October with 30 tables that will seat 300 ladies. We are looking for hostesses for these tables. Please contact us if you are are interested in helping us out.

Our success stories include helping a patient from Graaff – Reinet who had to have radiation for  6 weeks and did not have enough money for transport to and fro from the centre. We transported her to PE and also provided her with accommodation for the duration of her treatment.
