Be the Change in Partnership with the Exceptional Nurse Campaign

Be The Change NMB in partnership with the Exceptional Nurse Campaign is a movement seeking to coordinate relief/aid initiatives into our public hospitals so as to effectively& efficiently address needs on the ground as they happen during Covid-19.

The movement also seeks to share good news regarding the MANY initiatives underway in Nelson Mandela Bay and to provide a platform for the public and listeners to "be the change they wish to see in the world" Mahatma Gandhi.

We have three projects currently up and running that we would love you to be a part of!

For the Nurture A Nurse Movement SA, we have partnered with The Exceptional Nurse Campaign to provide care packs to nurses and health workers in our public hospitals to show support, appreciation and solidarity during these fearful and stretching times.

For our Coffee Campaign, we have partnered with 5 local coffee shops, namely: Brioche, Cafe Capellini Sunridge Village and Walmer Park, Raak and The Holiday Coffee Co to provide support to our heroes on the frontlines through the purchasing of "Be The Change NMB" tokens instore, the gifting of said tokens to a nurse or healthcare worker that entitle the token holder to redeem a free cappuccino or hot chocolate.

Ongoing, coordinated outreaches into Livingstone Hospital for PPE, blankets, linen, water and citrus as, well as sandwhiches&water to Dora Nginza Casualty, sandwiches and Mama&Baby Care packs into Dora Nginza maternity ward, Sanford Clinic, Rose Street Clinic, Laeticia Bam and Pakamisa Mbethe Provincial Hospital.
